AMERICAN INDIAN

American Indians from many different nations produced a wide variety of decorative and utilitarian items, both for personal use and for the tourist trade. Items shown are American Indian handcrafted objects from the late 1800's to the 1940's from the pueblos and reservations of the American Southwest. Also included is beadwork from the Plains and Woodlands Indians, California Indian baskets, carvings from the Northwest Coast, as well as pieces from other areas of The North American Continent.
