Modernist Studio Pottery

Modernism is a deliberate departure from tradition and the use of innovative forms of expression that distinguish many styles in the arts and literature of the 20th century. Modernism was a revolt against the conservative values of realism. We primarily focus on the studio pottery that was produced by the ceramic artists of The Mid-Century Modern era, such as Gertrude & Otto Natzler, Beatrice Wood, Polia Pillin, Laura Andreson, Glen Lukens, Harrison McIntosh, Marguerite Wildenhain and others. We also acquire individual pieces ranging from furniture to art objects.
